Energy Monitoring Upgrade
To improve reliability and provide addressable devices for the DoD’s Energy Monitoring Systems, Foresite provided (55) surveys of the existing Energy Monitoring Systems at 33 military bases, installed new electrical service metering devices and communication equipment. Foresite also integrated new programs onto existing electric metering devices at 60 locations across the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Installed new wireless communication devices, water metering devices, and gas metering devices at 55 facilities. Installed conduit, wire, low voltage cable, and hardware as required. Connected monitoring devices to existing building automation systems at 11 locations consisting of 16 military medical facilities.
Foresite furnished a new power source for new manufacturing equipment without disturbing existing operations and ancillary live areas of production. Foresite furnished and installed 1,800 feet of 2 ½” EMT, 400-mcm THHN and #3 ground wires from new panel to four manufacturing equipment areas, with 40-ft. drops of direct electrical connections from the ceiling to the company’s newest investments.
Transformer, Voltage Regulator for Production Equipment
To reduce downtime cost and extend the operational life of manufacturing equipment, Foresite furnished and installed a new voltage regulator. Critical components installed: (1) 112.5 KVA and (1) 150 KVA power conditioner both with shunt trip breakers +- 1% voltage regulation output from no load to full load and +10% to -20% input variation; installed new 200 Amps feeder and disconnect, conduit, wire, and devices for each power conditioner
1600 Amp Distribution Panel
For a building expansion, Foresite installed new electrical main switchgear equipment. Foresite furnished and installed (3) new 1600 Amp 480 Volt fuses in main switchboard; (15) new electrical panels for power, lighting and HVAC equipment; plus all other electrical requirements for site lighting, emergency power, motors, door hardware, and dock systems.

Electric for Expansion and Renovation
Foresite was hired to furnish and install all electrical and communications work for a YMCA expansion and renovation, in accordance with Division 26 Electrical, Division 27 Communication, and Specification Section 283111 Digital, Addressable Fire Alarm System. Per the drawings, panel schedules and single-line diagrams, Foresite disconnected, removed and relocated existing electrical equipment and devices; furnished and installed distribution equipment, electrical equipment, control wiring, light fixtures, lighting control system, fire alarm system, swimming pool bonding, site lighting, monument sign, and all conduit and wire including temporary power. Project was completed on time, meeting all closeout requirements and those of the general contractor.
Electric Service in Clean Room Conditions
Foresite installed a new electric service in a clean room environment that would allow future capacity for expansion, maintain reliability, and pass FDA compliance. Wearing head and facial filters, body gowns, and shoe coverings to follow company policies and FDA regulations, Foresite also furnished and installed new power distribution equipment for manufacturing equipment, control panel, pumps, starters, ozone monitors, and disconnects. Raceways and conduits were stainless steel grade to pass FDA inspection.
Chiller Electric Circuit
To assist in the expansion of their manufacturing operation, our client required additional air handling capacity. Foresite installed new 480 Volt power to all chillers, pumps, panels, and roof top HVAC units for this manufacturing client. Foresite also furnished and installed a new distribution panel, and all conduit, wire, and boxes to (4) Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) pump motors, new disconnect, pump tank control panel, and (2) condensers.

Office, Warehouse, and Manufacturing Addition (150,000 sq. ft.)
Foresite furnished and installed new electrical and communications systems for a 150,000 sq. ft. office, warehouse, and manufacturing addition. Critical components included 600V non-fused disconnect, duct smoke detectors, test switches, fan shut down control modules, and fire alarm components for (5) Roof Top HVAC Units. All contactors in existing programmable control system, conduit, wire, and cable were completed, tested, certified, and recorded.

Area of Rescue Assistance System
In order to comply with company safety procedures and policies for their Rescue Assistance System, Foresite furnished and installed (4) notification areas with emergency assistance notification that communicated to the security center. Additionally, Foresite furnished and installed (5) new power sources for the master station and (4) remote stations. Remote devices were configured to communicate with the master station. Foresite also installed signage at each area.
PA Speaker System
For a public YMCA facility, Foresite upgraded an existing PA speaker system: (22) speakers were lowered, (15) speakers were added, and some cabling was rerouted to new amplifiers for load balancing. All speakers were repositioned to face the same direction in any given area/room to improve audio performance.
Fiber Raceway For Cellular Facility
For a Minnesota client in the assisted living housing business, Foresite installed a new communications raceway to improve future capacity for expansion, reduce cost, increase reliability, and extend the operational life of the fiber. Foresite furnished and installed 190 ft. of 2 ½” EMT from the facilities main communications room to the rooftop for broadband connection to AT&T cellular facility; and directionally bored 250’ of 2” HDPE from facilities communications room to utility manhole offsite. Project also required proper permits and traffic coordination.

For a client in the hospitality business, Foresite installed a new communications raceway to improve future capacity for expansion, reduce cost, increase reliability, and extend the operational life of the fiber. Foresite furnished and installed 200 ft. of 2 ½” EMT from the facility’s main communications room to the rooftop for broadband connection to T-Mobile cellular facility; and directionally bored 150 ft. of 2” HDPE from the facility’s communications room to utility manhole offsite. Project also required proper permits and traffic coordination.
